Thumbs Up to Relief
Many people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. The focus of care at Mid-Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic is relief care. Short-term goals of care include: reducing your pain levels, restoring normal joint function/biomechanics, increasing ranges of motion, and restoring proper muscle function. Long-term goals of care include: restoring functional independence and tolerance of normal activities of daily living.
In the beginning of care, we often see patients more frequently than we do towards the end of care. Sometimes patients require daily visits in the beginning and sometimes they only require one to two visits per week initially. Each patient and their specific conditions are individually considered following their initial examination to determine the frequency of care that is appropriate in their particular case. As a patient’s symptoms improve clinically the frequency of visits will be reduced.
Mid-Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic’s philosophy toward patient care is different than that of many other Chiropractor’s. Our team is not looking to have patients come in for care three times per week for life. Rather, we will treat patients as necessary for their conditions and will release them from care when their conditions resolve. If their conditions return down the line and patients determine that they need to resume care, they are welcome to do so. There are no high-pressure sales, no long term contracts, no up-front payments, and no pressure! Mid-Atlantic Spinal Rehab & Chiropractic aims to be the most convenient source for Chiropractic care in Baltimore and the surrounding communities.
