Dr. Sarah Chung, born in South Korea and raised in Maryland, graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology, followed by a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010 at Life University in Marietta Georgia.
She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and have 2 children together—a daughter who loves art and crocheting and a son who loves math and soccer. She has 2 Yorkshire Terrier dogs—Superman passed due to old age and Batman is her healthy senior dog who is 14 years young.
A fun fact about Dr. Chung is that her hair grows very long! Depending on when you visit her, the length may change because she has been a repeat donor of 10 years to the Locks of Love foundation where her hair is intended to make wigs for children who have medical illness and cancer. She keeps her hair healthy in hopes of putting a smile on a child, even if it’s for a moment. In fact, her daughter in elementary school recently donated her hair for the first time last year!
Another fun fact is that Dr. Chung is no cook! Since the pandemic, she was forced to prepare more meals at home and she is starting to actually enjoy it. Believe it or not, some of the best secret ingredients she uses are those shared by her patients!
